"The photos aren’t representative of the property. We were excited to stay at a full-experience Onsen and expecting amenities such as cold baths, saunas, and multiple hot baths — this is not the case. Rather, the pool is much smaller than it appears in the photos, there are only two hot baths, and nothing else. On the positive side, the rooms were spacious and clean. If you’re in or around this area, opt for a day Onsen and less expensive hotel for a better value."

"平日に素泊まり２名で宿泊。駐車場から硫黄の香りが漂い、温泉への期待でワクワク。鹿の湯が掛け流しの露天風呂は肌がツルツルになり保湿を翌日まで感じるほど良かったです。お風呂も脱衣所も古さは否めませんが、お掃除が行き届きアメニティも一通り揃って好印象です。建物は入り口からフロントそして景観をダイナミックに楽しめるラウンジまで一望出来て開放感に溢れています。インテリアは重厚感とモダンさをバランスよく取り入れたライブラリーようでカッコよかった。勿論、リモデルされた感はありますが低層のビンテージな雰囲気は悪くない。夕方6時までのラウンジサービスではお茶各種やナッツ・チーズ・クラッカーやジャム類だけではなくワインまでサービスされて、コーヒーは滞在中自由に頂けます。お部屋は広々していていて、ドレッサースペースもあり良いレイアウトでした。ベッドもよく眠れます。総じてコスパ良いなぁと思います！唯一、ウォーターサーバーの有無が不明ですが見つけられ無かったのは残念でした。ありがとうございました✨又行きたーい"

"Easy access to train station. Staff was friendly and helpful. Half the building is smoking, half not. We didn't smell the smoking from our non smoking room, but you can smell it a little in the multi purpose areas. Room was nice and a good size. Bed was very hard. The outside was quiet, but you could hear people in the halls and and in other rooms coughing through the walls. There's only one elevator so you sometimes had to wait a bit, especially around breakfast. Breakfast was traditional japanese, with things like katsu, rice, soup, salad, veggie sides, bread roll,eggs and ham. Amenities: soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, pj's (one size fits all-- too small for my hubby) and slippers. There's some food options within walking distance."

"The location was great Install translate before you go Ask for a bus timetable and the free tickets you get as part of your stay Uber does not work out near Nasu, no uber eats or car rides Install go taxi, it's there uber equivalent Food is scarce around the hotel so plan ahead and get food from the local shops, family marts are great, 7elevens are ok to If you eat at the buffet restaurant at the hotel you need to book it as part of the hotel booking. We did not and it cost me $214 (aud) for 2 adults and 1 child, we didn't know this ahead of time. The hot springs / baths are a no cloths zone, kids 6 and older and men and woman are just all in the same water together naked, nothing against there culture it just wasn't for me. There are claw machines absolutely everywhere in Japan so if your taking kids be sure to always have some coins on you, they range for 100¥ to 500¥ Nasu highlands park was amazing Nasu safari park was good, very small but pretty cool getting up so close with so many animals."

"This was a nice hotel located very close to aizuwakamatsu station. It was dated- the bathroom was clean, but had a kind of old smell. The air conditioning didn’t work well, but it was cool enough to open the window. There were no laundry facilities, but there was a coin laundry pretty close by. We were given drink vouchers for each night’s stay but we didn’t use them because we felt underdressed for the restaurant. The staff was very friendly and helpful- we transferred luggage and they were very helpful with that. Close to a 7-eleven and restaurants were nearby. Overall a nice stay and would stay again if going to the Aizu area."
