Temnitzquell Trip

There are no water bottles in the room. We called room service to see if we could get some water brought to our room and no. They do not have in room dining and therefore will not bring you water. You have to leave your room to go into the casino and buy it. Annoying and weird.

This was my second time staying at the Rio and both rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and had full amenities. Good soundproofing made sleeping a breeze. You can check in by text, at kiosks or the traditional check in desk manned by helpful humans. The worst thing I encountered is that grounds are massive and better signage inside the building would help when trying to find your way around

Rooms are attractive and well appointed except for the lack of a coffee pot. Can't recommend this hotel if you want to sleep before 2AM. Sound travels easily from room to room and our adjoining guests were extremely loud late nighters. Also, despite the red card warning guests of a $599 fine for smoking, the smell in our room of marijuana was overwhelming at times. Like most Las Vegas hotels, it's hard to leave the building without walking through the casino that was also smoke filled. On the bright side, it was significantly cheaper than hotels across the street. We'll opt to spend a few more dollars next time and go elsewhere.

Room was clean, food was fabulous at the Cafe Americano, service from staff was friendly but when I dealt with the front desk staff both with checking in and out … I didn’t feel like they went above and beyond. I had been told by others that had stayed there that when you check in they make you feel appreciated and welcome. I didn't get that sort of treatment. The woman hardly looked up from her screen and when I asked a couple of questions I was given short curt answers.
