"The overall experience at Westin Desaru was amazing. At first we were disappointed with the double bed room with partially seaview, but when we get into the room the view was terrible and it was actually located at the Grd floor which same floor with the receptionist (but they named it as 2nd floor n I don’t get it why) However, after we feedback our disappointment to receptionist - Dan, he was very helpful and got us a better room changing that we were very happy and much appreciated on his kindness help. So a good thumbs up to the Westin staff, especially to Dan. And I look forward to go back to Westin again. By the way, I have nth bad to say abt Westin Desaru but just one small thing i think can be improved, which is the swimming pool cleanliness. Apparently many hotel guest will went into the pool after they came back from the beach and it caused the swimming pool stuck with a lot of sands in it. "

"It was a good family staycation. However it can be improved if there were more staffs available & a few other improvements The front counter upon check had only one staff. The room floor were dusty. The were not sufficient tables for breakfast Even though there was shortage of staffs, the front desk staffs & Herb & Spices cate staffs were friendly & facilitating. The shortfall was compensated by the good food served during breakfast Another area that be improved is response to phone call. I’ve been calling the hotel for the past 2 days but no one has picked up my call😩 "

"Overall it is was good but the hotel house keeping should improve their efficiency. e.g. They forgot to provide towel until we request. Secondly, we went in the room but the room was not ready. It was the miscommunication between the house keeping and front desk. And, the breakfast is really not so good. We hope hotel will improve it. "
