"Super friendly staff throughout the hotel, especially breakfast service. Free parking at the weekends and £5 to swim and use gym. Clean room with plenty of space and the usual facilities of tea/coffee and iron. No fridge to store baby milk if travelling with babies. Really enjoyed the stay, my only complaint was that the room was adjoining to another family who were extremely loud. Next time I would ask to move so I didn’t experience a sleepless night again."

"I booked the Redwing lodge at beginning of the year. Turned up and it changed names/ companies. I ended up walking around for about 15 mins as was not informed of the change. It's now under IHG Franchise. Not bad but the decoration of the property and felt a bit bodged. My room stank of paint."

"Lovely pub, rooms are newly renovated and very clean. I went for a standard double, was cosy but if I was with a partner I’d definitely book a bigger space. There was a breakfast hamper with a good selection of cereal, granola, pastry and fruit. Pint of milk and water in the fridge. The staff were lovely and the locals said the food is amazing, I had eaten before arrival but will be going g back for food with family very soon! I’ll stay again since it’s close to family and was a lovely little place."

"We went past this hotel a few times trying to find it. No one had informed us that the hotel had changed it name. It was only the fact that the satnav lead us there and went into see if I had the right place. There seemed to be a communication lacking between hotel.com and the hotel"
