Teggs Nose Country Park

We knew the snow would be beautiful up here so we slipped and slid our way up in the car to get some photos.

Here's an interesting thing. Looks like a circular sheep pen made from dry stone walls split by two chunky and smooth wooden kissing styles. It is a viewing point with about a dozen holes through the top stones aligned to frame landmarks on the 360 degree horizon, with lovely industrial looking metal 'eyepieces' bearing the names of what you are looking it. Tegg's Nose hill is the site of a disused quarry that operated from the 16th century until 1955.

Nice spread, rather expensive though to be frank in terms of value. Nice space but the breakfast area was cold considering it was snowing outside they should have upped the temperature. A nice hotel nonetheless. Had a nice drink the bar area night before as well.
