Disliked: Room comfort
Would not stay there again (nice staff though!)
We booked a 35 sq m room with a double and a single bed (and paid for this!), instead we were given a small room with two single beds. When we asked about our room, we were met with a shrug. We had to push the beds together to make a double, but we had a gap in the middle. Room was basic, but clean. Bathroom, however, smelled awful (from the drain). The shower had a curtain that was too short, so the water was all over the bathroom, and stayed a while as the drain was clogged. Breakfast was basic, but eggs were good. Extremely dry bread (surprising as Georgia has sooo much good bread).
The staff were lovely, but when we asked for taxi service to Kazbegi, we were given double price of what you could get it for in the street. They said "special price for our guests" - and special it was indeed. We saved almost a 100 lari by going outside and hailing a regular taxi.
