What can I say, one of the best hotels in Philippines and El Nido. Pick up from the airport was timely and comfortable, and the 30 minutes speedboat ride to the hotel was fun. Enjoyed a lovely stay at the Buko Beach Resort. The rooms are lovely and pool area great for sunset views. There were a lot of mosquitos when we stayed but the hotel does provide mosquito coils for the outside shower and toilet area and mosquito repellent. The resort is close to some excellent restaurants, notably Cala, Chabacano and Bela Vita. Everything was perfect, from the beginning to end. The room was decorated with a modern look as per the pictures on the website and the private pool and hammocks were a perfect fit! The location couldn’t be faulted and the kitchen was fully equipped and the farm on site to pick our own eggs was an amazing experience. Would definitely recommend and stay here again on my next visit.

We stayed in Joglo 2 for twelve nights and it was honestly the nicest place we have ever stayed. The attention to detail in these villas is beautiful. They are well thought out and very spacious, and the view is spectacular. We made sure we were home to watch the sunset from the balcony every evening. Nice location overlooking the bay with excellent, modern rooms, very friendly staff and a superb spa! We ate at the restaurant a lot and the food was also consistently very good. We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay and I would highly recommend a stay.

I hadnt done much prior research so was a bit surprised when we arrived and found ourselves on what is practically a desert island.
