The hotel occupies a very nice three-storey building on the border of a rich central neighborhood of Tashkent. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, beds are perfect. Staff is in general very friendly and accommodating (only one person was somewhat unpleasant), even preparing for us breakfast 2 hrs before the official breakfast time, at 5 AM! Breakfast is pleasant, mostly Russian style, but with local bakery products and homemade cakes. Unfortunately coffee is not their thing, but tee is excellent, optionally with their special local lemons. Overall, indeed strongly recommended if one wishes to avoid the big modern hotels and prefers a more cozy, authentic place.
