Functional and comfortable hotel in the absolute center of the city. Only problem was the power failure when we arrived: front doors didn't work so it was hard to get in, and elevators were of course also out of order. Great that there were a couple of strong young gentlemen (staff members) who could help get our suitcases up to the third floor.

The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The room was rather nice although a bit forgetful. No separate conditioner or shower gel but one bottle for everything. The bed was okay as well. The big problem is that it is not possible to sleep at the hotel due very severe traffic noise. There is 4 lane road in front of the hotel and only single glazing in the windows. The noice is infernal and even with ear plugs I had problems to sleep. Thus, unfortunaly I must recommend that one one would stay here if they like to sleep during the stay. This is very sad to say because otherwise the hotel is pretty good value and the rooms are rather nice. The hotel should redo the window glazing and ensure proper sound insulation.

Needs improvement

Hotel is situated in city centre, very close access to all mayor activities in the city. As the hotel is next to the main road, all the noise of traffic is very loudly heard to the room, windows do not seal any noise. Also it is heard all the noise from the corridor and some guests were partying. Overall, we did not sleep very well.

it's nice and comfortable hotel as a 3 star hotel situated very comfortably and seems well maintained. 2 problems - was promised a 20 Sq. M room but got 1 that is hardly 16 Sq. M. the double bed is stuck near the wall which means no comfortable access to 1 side of the bed.

Fine room after you learn to use it

I almost slept on the corridor, because I couldn't figure out how to open the door (the "key" was wireless). And I almost didn't wash my hands at all, because I couldn't figure out how to squeeze the hard soap bottle (there was a disguised bar integrated to the frame that you had to push). - These inconveniences put aside, the hotel was OK. It was also well located even though the walk to the railway station was lengthy, approx 20 minutes with my speed.

Booked Premium double with kingsize bed, got small room with rolled together two single beds, stained carpet and walls. Have no idea how looks Standard room then... Asked reception, they said pictures on Expedia belong to Luxury double. Windows not opening, so brief conditioned air only during night, which is not really healthy. VERY NOISY in the rooms facing Riia Mnt. Revving engines and club music playing every minute until 4am as the traffic lights changed. My son was awake until after midnight. I asked the front desk for help and they tried, but the hotel was full that night. They seemed to be very aware of the problem and looked for earplugs to offer. Telling that they had none left...

At arrival there was confusion about the reservation - there was two instead of the one we made. Our evidence was only pointing to one. Hotels.com app and confirmation email showed one but the pre-registration sent by the hotel showed a different room type. We did not receive a pre-registration of the room type we ordered. We will claim the difference of the higher price. Front desk was helpful to sort out what seems like a system error or error by the hotel. Shortage of parking place. Ended up moving my car 3 times in the first hour to avoid a ticket. Breakfast ok
