"A very warm, homely place to stay with very friendly and helpful owners who go out of their way to ensure the comfort of their guests. Perfect location for visiting the Taroko National park! Highly recommended for a clean, comfortable and personalised accommodation-we will stay here again if we visit the area!

"Should be 4 stars. The staff are the best we ever experienced. Always caring and helpful. Providing transportation to and from the train station. We will definitely stay here again. The breakfast was one of the best meals we ever had."
"A beautiful home stay with views of sea and mountains. The owners helped arranging a tour of Taroko gorge and drove us to the train stain in the am. Without a car it is isolated but we enjoyed a walk to the beach."
".
The property is behind a convenience store and not easy to find. Further, the on-site reception is spotty, not always there.
The area lacks appeal, not much to see when walking around.
The room itself, however, is decent.

"Taroko Liikko Hotel ranks the highest in my list in terms of exceptional excellent customer service from all my years of travelling and staying in hundreds of hotels all over the world. This hotel treats you like you are their house guest and not a customer. Every staff gives her best and goes all out to serve and help you personally. I have great respect for the bosses and indeed felt very honoured to have stayed here and experienced their hospitality."
"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff was very welcoming and, even though there was a bit of a language barrier, they always did their best to accommodate our needs. The property itself was well kept and spotless — our room was tidy, fresh, and exceptionally clean. We especially loved having a balcony overlooking the mountains, which made the stay feel extra special.
The included breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the staff was kind and helpful throughout our visit.
One thing to note is that the hotel is about a 45–60 minute walk from the train station. If you’re traveling with luggage, it’s definitely best to take a taxi, which costs around 200 NTD.
Overall, we had a great experience and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay!
