The accommodation was lovely, well equipped and with spectacular views of the sea and beach. The lack of air conditioning was however a bit of a drawback since this meant it was necessary to have windows open and then there were a lot of flies which came into the room. This seemed to be more of a problem on the day that the grass had been cut. Not sure if that's just coincidental or not. The communal fire-pit was a real bonus. Excellent family run hotel with friendly, helpful and professional staff. Superb artwork in public spaces. Outstanding commitment to community cohesion and service over time. Spotless room, clean heated pool and hot tub. Extensive 5 star quality buffet dinner. Very comfortable bar and restaurant areas. Great location.

Well kept, great staff and so central

Room was very clean. Staff are very welcoming and recommend plenty of places to eat. A variety of treats & toiletries in the room. We took advantage of the laundry services.

Just a 2 minute walk to the beach front. Right in town. Good parking. Close to restaurants and shops. Felt secure. Rooms are outstanding value for money at £70. Big comfy beds. Excellent climate control in the room. Balcony outside.

ideal location for exploring Mt Taranaki and surrounding area. staff were absolutely great and very helpful with giving advice on routes to drive and walking routes. Would definitely visit again.

Helpful friendly host

New Plymouth is a great place to stay. Good size town, great art gallery and great museum, plenty of good restaurants and cafes. Brilliant 13km coastal walkway, ideal for cycling/walking. The jewel in the crown is Mt Taranaki, 3 fantastic visitor centres, walks to suit all ages. Highly recommended.

Very large accommodation for 2-4 people. Open plan lounge/kitchen with sofa bed, seperate bedroom and large bathroom. Excellent condition and recently completed to a high specification. Quality at a very good value price.
