I can't RAVE enough about our Royal Tulip stay!
Back story: Due to flight delays, we arrived at 1:30 am. Nervous because check in is clearly stated between 3-12 am and Hotels.com states you must contact the hotel for check in, which I could not.
Miraculously, we were able to acquire a taxi from the airport at that hour and there sat a lovely gentleman at the front desk waiting to welcome us and check us in!
After almost 48 hours of travel it was such a relief to arrive and still have our rooms! As a bonus, at 1:30 am we were even able to order room service and a bottle of wine! Aside from carpets being a bit worn, our rooms were clean and lovely! Each had a full balcony overlooking the marina. Beds and linens were soft and comfortable. The bathrooms were beautiful! That said, the best part about our stay was the hotel staff! They were ALL so gracious and attentive. The front desk even helped us acquire a private driver to the Blue City at a very reasonable rate. Breakfast each morning was top notch. Better than any hotel breakfast I've ever had! We also ate dinner in one of the restaurants which was excellent! 5 star all the way. In addition, the hotel is conveniently located approximately 5 mins walk from the train station which worked well for us.
Bottom line, our stay far exceed our expectations at the Royal Tulip! I would stay here again in a heartbeat and would highly recommend other travelers to do the same! We will be back.
