"We had an exceptional stay at Turtle Bay. From start to finish, the service was a consistent **5-star experience**; every staff member went above and beyond, and we were honestly gutted to only be staying for one night. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a very warm welcome, including cold cloths and a refreshing drink—exactly what we needed after a long journey. Our room (Green Turtle) was lovely: spacious, featuring twin beds, dressing gowns, and a large bathroom stocked with toiletries. We also had a generous balcony overlooking the pool and beach, which provided the perfect vantage point for sunset views. This was one of the only rooms we stayed in in Sri Lanka that had a full length mirror, an added bonus. The only thing we found was the sheet on the bed wasn't quite enough for us, and we should have asked for a blanket but didn't at the time, otherwise we slept very well and the beds were very comfortable. The restaurant offered a fantastic range of dinner options, from fresh seafood and local delicacies to international dishes—all at very reasonable prices. **Note:** While everything is priced in USD, payment is made in LKR. Breakfast was equally impressive, with a great selection including fresh fruit platters, made-to-order omelettes, and toast. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our visit. "We had a wonderful 4 night stay at Coco Tangalle , we stayed in the King Coco room & it was an amazing space , large with our own private patio . Suresh looked after us during our stay & was very helpful . We would have liked to see a small refrigerator in our room & tea/coffee facilities however Suresh was very happy to place our wine in their fridge & serve it on request , he also bought us a pot of tea every morning . Gorgeous restaurant & pool with staff always ready to assist , would happily stay again "

"Elegant and a very beautiful super large villa with excellent maintenance. Very clean and comfortable rooms with modern bathrooms . Natural showers are something unique. Sea-bath was fantastic. The karaoke facility was a pleasant surprise and it was such good fun after dinner, which gave great entertainment to our small group . Breakfast was fabulous. Our stay was 5 star. Amazing place. Highly recommended ."

"Family were beautiful and accommodating The house is great and perfect for a long term stay Shops a restaurants are around a 15 minute walk away but once you start walking you are likely to walk pas a free tuk tuk you can jump in I stayed with my 3 year old daughter and it was perfect Pool is great, house facilities are great. "If you want a little time in a luxurious place with great service look no further! Stayed there a few days as a little treat for ourselves and we really enjoyed our time! On-site restaurant with attentive staff, good room service, wonderful swimming pool with a view and the owners live on site and are very kind people! Super close to Secret beach, a tuk tuk ride away from other great beaches... Recommend this place. Very new too so facilities are in great condition. "

"This hotel has basic amenities and it's proximity to the beach is wonderful. The service is exceptional and the people who work there are so wonderful. This is not a luxurious hotel by any means, but would I stay here again, yes I would. Basic comforts were provided, including a mosquito net over the bed and a mosquito repellant plug in (much needed for the third friend who didn't have a mosquito net over her single bed). We were upgraded to an ocean view room on a top floor (lots of stairs), so we spent the majority of the day at their beachside cafe called Happy Lab. We came in April, so waves a little high but we managed to enjoy our time in the water. We took a stroll in the evening to check out other nearby beachside restaurants and settled on dinner at The Twins. Everyone was accommodating and we had a lovely time."
