Lovely hotel with its own private beach. The hotel has one restaurant which overlooks the beach and a beautiful bay. The food provided was excellent however choice was limited. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The hotel recommended renting a moped from a guy called Eddie who owns a motorcycle rental shop nearby. We had the most wonderful stay. We got the 9.30am boat over to the island, were able to leave our bags at reception and went to enjoy the pool - this was really special. The pool has three smaller pools around the base and the views are just stunning. The colours of the sea are phenomenal. My original stay was so good that I had to come back. Amazing location. Falling asleep to the sound of waves. Wake up to a sunrise. Really tasty food. Amazing staff ready to support with all requests. Neil super attentive and helpful when arranging attractions and transportation during my stay. Jude super friendly and professional. Allan cooking amazing dishes. From fellow guest his Adobo chicken was best they had. Also shops and ATM close by.

The room as fairly small but had everything we needed for a single night. There’s not a lot to do in the evening other than have something to eat at one of the few restaurants but as you’ll be getting up early it’s probably not the priority. Like most tourists we were here to do the whale shark trip. The location is perfect two minutes walk from where the boats leave. We got up at 4:00am and were in the queue by 4:15. Great for the price. Fantastic service friendly smiley staff. Nice free breakfast included in the price which starts from 4:30am but don't bother waiting for it before going to the whale sharks unless getting up before 4:30 so you are first in line. The breakfast is cooked on an order by order basis so we ended up having it as a take away box as we had to wait 30+ minutes which had already made us very late for arriving to the whale sharks tour.
