Room is very spacious with a large balcony and amazing view. Very clean and well stocked. Loved the mini bar drinks that were included. Breakfast buffet was large with many options that changed daily.
I am a Guam resident who "staycations" for leisure. I have stayed at several hotels on the San Vitores/Tumon strip. Hotel Nikko is the best accomodation for price, cleanliness, convenience and hospitality. Thats why I return.
The service was great during our stay. We enjoyed the pool very much since there was a separate pool that was just for children! The food was great in the 2 restaurants we ate at. All of them do close at 2 and reopen at 6.
Nice view. Staff was good. Chinese restaurant was closed most of our stay. Not very much happening at the hotel for the holidays. Hotel charged for beach umbrella and chairs areas and for seating on poolside lounges which I thought was too much.
Conclusion is not worth the money.
It’s an old hotel. You can tell from the moment you enter the room. The AC sounds like a horn when running. The toilet sounds like an old man coughing after flushing. Scratches and rust spot in bathtubs and wash sink. Terrible experience as a 4 star hotel.
Staffs are kind. Breakfast is okay. There’s no decent bar (only pool bar that servers drinks in plastic cups and close at 2130), no room service, no seating area in the lobby lounge (only take out). No food available after 2100 but the grocery store which sells instant noodle.
Only thing I like is the beach. Quiet and feels private because it’s a distance from the main beach. But there’s not enough bench on the beach ……
Hotel Nikko Guam will be one of our favorite hotels in Guam. The Gun Beach, Facilities, Amenities, Warm and Friendly services of staffs are wonderful! Nice place to stay to relax and enjoy. They have Water server in which is convenient as well. The room is so wide and elegantly designed. Thank you Expedia & Hotel Nikko Guam!
My room wasn’t clean, the balcony really needed a cleaning bugs were living on the chair. There was lizard poop. I had a better experience there in May but this time the experience wasn’t so great. views were amazing and beach
Only problem was the bidet was not working but other than that perfect place and awesome rooms with a view!

Disliked: Amenities
Overall stay wasn’t too bad. However, the bed was extremely hard. The location of Nikko is one of the best. The views are amazing as well. Just for me personally, it’s a bit overpriced for what you actually get. The tv was really old and you can only watch the channels that they provide, unless you bring your own laptop and hdmi cord.

Nice place, but the carpets are badly worn down with some holes and runs in places. My room was nice, and comfortable, but was very musty smelling. The refrigerator kept things cool, but nowhere near cold. Not good in that heat and humidity.
A microwave would've been handy for leftovers from meals, but without one I didn't take leftovers and food was wasted.
The breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent. Great tasting food and many options across many ethnic palates.
Every staff member I dealt with was very helpful, friendly and actually seemed to be enjoying their jobs.
