Stay was ok. Our ac didnt work for our entire stay. We had a wedding and simply asked for 2 spacious rooms to get ready in, which we had already booked and they gave us the tiniest rooms told us they were full and then 2 rooms suddenly appeared. We asked for a fan since the ac was broken and they couldn't provide that but they were quick to charge me $20 for a bath towel that had becomed stained from my hair dye, nowhere in any hotel have they ever charged for a towel becoming stained. Then why have white towels? Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. Convinient location.

The hotel is accessible to most things touristic in the center of Tampico, and lots of good restaurants and shopping nearby. The difficult thing was the parking. You have to use a public lot. Even though the hotel reimbursed us for the parking fees, it is a little inconvenient to check out of the parking lot, pay the fee, find parking near the hotel, take the elevator up to the lobby to get reimbursed.

Small rooms
Basic hotel in the center of Tampico. Rooms were very small, so were the bathrooms. Free breakfast offered is very basic, so we only dined in twice during our stay. There are better options for breakfast right in the city center.

I received a great service by both reception´s and cleaning staff. The room was nice and clean, but it was smaller than expected. The minisplit was not working at all. Once fixed, it only lasted a couple hours, since I arrived later that same night, and it was not working again. The breakfast buffet exceeded my expectations, since there was good food variety. A detail that caught my attention was that the restaurant-bar at the top of the building (Shrimp Republic) was always lonely. I went several times and peered to see if any customers had arrived, but even though it was Saturday (3PM-6PM), it was always lonely. I ordered a tequila cocktail, and some meat. The drink was not cold, and it was a very small amount of meat. So I noticed the real reason of the restaurant loneliness.

no way this place is anywhere over 2 stars
No way this way is 3-stars, even for Tampico. I stayed here while in town or a conference and can with almost 100% certainty say I will never darken the door of this hotel again. Where do I start? First off, there is one elevator for all the guests in this at least seven story hotel. Make sure you bring something to read while you wait for the elevator! In my room there was this damp humidness that really made for some great sleeps and the sheets were super fun all humid like that. Also, my room had one small window, which made it feel like I was two days "in the hole" in some prison there. Tampico is a great down with nice hotels. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra USD 10-15/night for way more than USD 10-15 worth of contrast.

I am agree with cleaning and hous keeper but the staff they calling me at med night a bout to change the room I booked that room and I payed far that but the first rooms that they give it was like a gail and it have smail and the window was close there was no window to came the crush air in the room and ask them to change and they change that and a few days later they change that too I don’t know what they did that to me I am not satisfied with that

The Hotel was amazing for the price. The only complaint I had was our room was cramped for space. Later we stayed in a different room, different floor and that room was much better.

Me gustó que está en el centro de la ciudad y puedes caminar al rededor sin problema. Lo que no me gustó del hotel fue su personal muy poco amable y el gym, prácticamente el gym no tiene nada, es más recomendable saltar la cuerda y hacer lagartijas
