Nice clean hotel, close to Taipei main station. Staff helpful with baggage storage and with arranging driver for day trip to Juifen. Free refreshments, including soft serve ice cream! Free to use laundry also appreciated.

Free soft serve ice cream! Also was allowed to check in a couple of hours early. Staff is very helpful with bags. They held bags for us as we had a late flight so we could explore the city on our last day unencumbered.

The front desk staff are very helpful, specially Andy. He helped me on the transportation, recommended a great massage place, introduced many useful information and helped me with luggage. Great experience and qill recommend to friends for sure.

Convenient location for public transit, including Taipei Station and airport express train. Also, near to Ximen district. Room was very comfortable and clean. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Also nice to have a snack room with tables and chairs. Overall, a great place to stay.

enjoyed our stay here close to main Taipei train station. The only thing I would change and I did share this with them is for them to take American Express credit card. This is a card accepted all around the world. They indicated that they would renew their contract with AMEX soon. Other than that a nice hotel and their snack bar rocks!

We stayed in this lovely hotel on three occasions during our recent trip to Taiwan. We used it as our base hotel. In total, we were there for ten nights. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well equipped. All three rooms we stayed in had been updated. The hotel has a nice eating area on the first floor with plenty of snacks and beverages, there for the taking 24/7. The automated coffee machine can brew a wide variety of delicious coffee drinks with the push of a button. Just help yourself. They also have a free washing machine and dryer for your laundry needs, detergent provided. The hotel is a short walk from the Taipei Main Station and within walking distance of vibrant communities. To be honest, we did not use the metro much. Uber is so affordable in Taiwan, with a driver usually available in 1-3 minutes. The best reason to stay here is the amazing staff! They are kind, eager to help, and quick to offer tourists detailed info on what to see and how to get there. We felt treated like family! Three of the four desk staff we encountered spoke English. The fourth was just as helpful with the assistance of Google Translate. We would stay here again. No regrets!

The hotel was great, staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel was great value for money, didn't really matter that the room didn't have a window. Room was well appointed. Snacks and lounge were a nice touch. Location was great 5 min walk to Ximen MRT

The hotel is a great lovation, useful for sightseeing and we were able to walk to stations and parks etc. The reception staff were really friendly and helped us book a restaurant, this was so helpful!

Pros: Location was good, not too far from Taipei Main station and other areas of interest and it was great having family mart right next to the hotel. The staff was super helpful and there’s a nice variety of snacks offered in the lobby. Cons: It could’ve just been the room I was in, but the overhead shower didn’t work properly and I just ended up using the handheld shower head. Also because there’s only glass separating the shower and the room, it ends up getting a musty smell and it’s a little hard to breathe. I would also book a room with a window if possible.

Via Hotel is very clean and they provided free snacks and drinks at the hotel lobby. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They also offer airport transfer which was cheaper than Uber.

I enjoyed my stay at Via Hotel Taipei station as a solo female tourist. It was my first time in an Asian country and I felt very safe and welcome here. The staff were friendly and accommodating. My room was clean, well equipped and my bed was comfortable. The location is great as very close to NTU hospital station (10 min slow walk).

Surprisingly good.
Was above and beyond my expectations. Close to Taipei main Station and walking distance to Ximendeng pedestrian street. Though room is a little small, all the unexpected add on makes up for it. The self help snack bar and laundry facility are free and well thought out. Will definitely consider this hotel again when next visit Taipei

The services by the front desk staffs and the variety of the snacks provided were excellent. The location of the hotel is convenient and there’s many eateries places around the area. When you take Taoyuan Airport Express train to Taipei Main station, look for exit 3, turn left and walk straight along Chonging road for about 10 minutes, and the hotel is just across the street ( next to a family mart).

I am grateful to check in to Via Hotel. I was taking a cab arranged by the hotel to & fro Taoyuan Airport. The hotel has many kinds of cookies available. I like their shower facilities, very cozy & comfortable. Will consider to stay this hotel when return to Taiwan next year.

Located within a walking distance from Taipei main train station and the presidential building, the Via hotel is a great place to stay for short-term visitors. The guest room is clean and amenities look new. In-room safe and bidet toilet with heated seat are quite pleasant. Free daily extras, like toothbrush, tooth paste, floss, shaver, slippers, additional to items that every hotel offers, do not cost much but they reflect the thoughtfulness of the hotel management. The hotel also provides free snacks with descent selection. The only complain I have is the lack of any cabinet inside the guest room to store things off sight of the room service staff. Other than that, I am completely satisfied with my stay at Via.

Fantastic. If u r coming from airport, suggest u use K12 exit instead of Z10. While Z10 is nearer, it has no escalator. K12 is slightly 1 or 2 minutes walk longer to hotel but has escalator. Hotel is superbly located. Market next door good for selling clothes, shoes and lots of good local food. Taipei station an easy walk - mrt easy for travel within taipei and train for travel to other areas outside taipei Room is spacious for taipei standard. Daily cleaning. No breakfast but not an issue as lots of good food nearby. Snacks and free coffee and ice cream in lobby area. Laundry at 9th floor - 1 washing machine and 1 dryer. I enjoy my stay very much

First time in Taipei and this hotel could not have been better located. 5-10 min walk from Taipei Main Station HSR and MRT red line, a block away from National Taiwan Museum and Peace Park, many restaurants/eateries nearby, Family Mart right next door. The hotel and room was spotless, comfortable bed, shower had the best water pressure I’ve encountered in a hotel, and SO MANY free amenities! There is the snack room so many reviewers mentioned, as well as lots of little toiletry things. Staff were lovely, efficient and quick to check me in and out. I would absolutely stay here again.

My family of four recently stayed at this hotel for 6 nights. Coming from the USA, it was important to us that there was hotel staff that could speak English since we didn’t speak the language. The staff was always very gracious and welcomed us everytime we walked in and out of the property. This hotel is about a 10 minute walk from Taipei main station, and less if you are taking the bus or the MRT at NTU Hospital. There is a Family Mart, a couple of 7-Eleven’s, and Watsons all really close to the hotel. Although the hotel is not very big (one elevator and small lounge downstairs), it is big on amenities, which made all the difference for us on our trip. They offer complementary self-service laundry (soap included!), and had bottled water, fountain, drinks, and snacks in the lounge for guests to take as needed. I can’t explain enough how grateful we were for the laundry and bottled water as we went in the middle of summer, which is dreadfully hot and humid. We stayed in a few different NICE hotels as we traveled throughout Taiwan, but this one is at the top of our list for the balance of convenience and amenities. I should also note that our room was much larger than most other hotels offering two queen beds. Every inch of that space was needed too because I have two teenagers and we had eight large pieces of luggage taking up space. I would definitely recommend to stay here if you are looking to be close to Taipei main station.

The location of the hotel is very close to the Taipei main station, night markets, food and other transportations. The staff was very nice and welcoming. The room was very spacious and it was the biggest hotel bed I had ever slept on. I loved that the hotel provided complimentary snacks, drinks and even ice cream and instant ramen for guests. I would definitely recommend others to stay here and would stay here again myself.
