Overall, we were happy with our stay. However, despite having a booking for 2 adults and 2 children, we were treated as if the booking was for 3 persons only. We were even made to pay extra for breakfast for our youngest! Only 3 and cups towels in the room, etc. We never got the welcome drinks either!!! Left quite a bad impression upon arrival. Breakfast for forgettable and I'd wished for more European style options. On the positive side however, the location was fantastic, handy and close to everything including Taipei's transport network and Peace Memorial just around the corner. Plenty of restaurants and shops on the doorstep. What won our approval was the communal area in the lobby with a snack bar: excellent selection of various goodies replenished daily, including tasty noodle pots! A thing worth noting for tall travellers. If you're a tall person, look elsewhere as you'll struggle to navigate the extremely low ceilings!!! Im under 160cm and I could touch the ceiling without effort in most parts of the hotel!

Breakfast can be better with more fruit and bread options. Simple breakfast. Room was clean and staff was very helpful and also provide bottle water on request. Location to subway is about 5 minutes to the closes underground location where it can take you to directly to subway. Good option if it is a really hot day. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

Pros: Great location, close to two MRT stations. Rooms are a good size. Free snacks and drinks in the Reception area. Cons: Air Con could be better. Beds are rock hard, couldn't sleep properly and woke up aching every day. Breakfast has very few Western options.

This is a great little hotel! We loved the location and the surrounding areas were within reach to visit many places. The staff was very nice and loved there were snacks in the lobby. We did laundry there at the end of our first week and my only complaint was the dryer only went 40 minutes so our clothes were still a tad damp at the end. Otherwise, it was a great stay. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Great location, accessible hotel and friendly staff. Arranged for a crib in no time for our 2yo. Hotel and rooms overall could use a little makeover but in general good and clean conditions. Excellent facilities included a playroom (perfect for entertaining kids 1-8yo), foosball, darts (pay extra), free snacks and free drinks. Good breakfast with local and international food. Walking distance (10 min) from Ximendin and from Taipei Central train/MRT station.
