Shangri-La Far Eastern, Taipei
We spent four nights at the Shangri-La and really enjoyed it. The hotel is centrally located just a few minutes' walk from an MRT station and one of Taipei's better night markets. Our suite was huge and immaculately clean, and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The gym was extremely well-equipped. ...

Daan
Enjoy the popular shops in Daan. Daan Forest Park is a worthwhile stop, and you can jump on the metro at Technology Building Station or Daan Station to see more of Taipei.
