"The hotel is very well located and the staff were very nice. Allowed me to leave my bags before and after check in. The room was alright, but it was freezing the entire night and nothing I did to the thermostat would change it. I also couldn’t get the shower to heat up, but didn’t have time to ask someone to fix it."

"Was in a garden room which was fine but room was a cold, however oil filled heater was in the cupboard. Room was clean and en suite was spacious. Food was very expensive but no better than a home cooked meal. "

However we were disappointed to discover on arrival that we had to pay £6 per night to park our car in the hotels private car park. Not a huge sum of money obviously, but given that few people arrive on foot these days, it should have been included up front, in the room rate, not hidden somewhere in the small print."

"Convenient for train travel. A beautiful Old hotel with an amazing modern art collection. The contrast is awesome! The staff are very helpful and friendly. We didn't try the lounge or restaurant but it looked really nice"

"Great hotel in a great location. We walked to the bus station for our tour of lochness and its an easy walk to lots of dining options and a grocery store. The restaurant in the hotel is excellent so do eat there at least once during your stay. "
