The location is perfect to catch the train to Zermat. The room was cozy and comfortable. You are facing the train station so it is noisy. They have parking for a cost under the hotel. We missed a fridge.

Cozy and personable
The staff was exceptionally friendly upon arrival and for the two days we were there. They were very helpful with answering questions and letting us borrow a screw driver in a pinch. The bedroom was advertised as 2 twins, but the arrangement was 2 twin beds in a single frame. It was unexpected but not a big concern. My travel companion commented that he would stay at this location when he comes back for another boarding trip to Zermatt.

Great value, very comfortable excellent food (breakfast and dinner). Jacuzzi and sauna were welcome treats to round off active days in the mountains.

Price was decent for the actual results. The hotel was definitely older and any renovations were lacking. Right beside the railway so trains start around 6am till 11pm. By the time you get one day train pass for about $300 for two people, the gondola rides another $280, the hotel lower pricing and lower quality seemed to offset the expensive day. Definitely not a luxury stay but a true cabin experience. Staff was very nice.

Authenticly Swiss!
Could not be more convient to the train. Shuttle to zermatt every 20 min. So if you want to save $ over staying in Zermatt, two thumbs up.

Convenient alternative to Zermatt
If you're coming in to Zermatt by car, no need haul your bags up - get a place in Tasch, park the car, unload the bags, and just take the train up to Zermatt to see the sights. This hotel is right at the train station, so very convenient. We stayed in the older portion - it was OK, but rumor is the newer parts are very good. Great savings to the high price alternatives in Zermatt.

Excellent accommodation & Services
We have a very pleasant stayed with a beautiful clean, specious and comfort room that beyond our expectations. We are very thankful for the staff's help especially on the last day of our stay that we left our train tickets in the room but the reception was so kind to help us locate it and this saved us because the tickets to our next destination Milan was sold out due to local public holiday. The staff has a positive attitude and good hospitality to the hotel guests. I will highly recommend anyone to stay here if you plan to visit the Matterhorn and I will come back again to stay.

The super narrow stair to the room. The big luggage is just fit to the width. Difficult to drag up stair. At night we just realized there is no light in the toilet. Use the flashlight from mobile phone is a good idea. This is maybe what you get what you pay. One of the good thing is nice staff and Good location.

Hôtel authentique très bien situé à la gare
Hôtel très authentique, personnel très accueillant. Chambre décoration un peu vieillotte mais très confortable, trop chauffée. Restaurant très bon. Emplacement idéal à côté de la gare. Ns reviendrons.

추천할만한 좋은 숙소입니다.
Matterhorn을 보기 위해 머물렀던 숙소 입니다. 숙소 바로 앞에 Zermatt로 가기 위한 기차역이 바로 앞에 있고 저렴하게 장을 볼 수 있는 Coop 이라는 Market도 가까운 거리에 있어서 편리했습니다. Reception Desk에 있던 직원이 매우 친절했으며 방도 깔끔하게 잘 관리되고 있었으며 아침 조식도 좋은 편이고 머무는 동안 전반적으로 만족하였습니다. 굳이 Zermatt에 숙박할 예정이 아니라면 이 숙소에서 머물기를 추천합니다.

the room is eqipped with just basic facilities. But it can be a good choice for budgeted travellers who are going to Zermatt. The hostel is located next to the train station. There are several trains to zermatt per hour.

체르마트 호텔이 비쌀 땐 Tasch로 가세요.
호텔은 생각보다 깔끔했습니다. 욕실은 작은 편이지만 큰 불편은 없었습니다. 체르마트까지는 기차로 한 정거장이며 기차는 늦은 시간까지 자주 있는 편입니다. 호텔 바로 앞에 기차역과 마트가 있습니다. 호텔 뒷편 Randa까지 가는 하이킹 코스가 있는데 경치가 좋습니다. 호텔에서 운영하는 레스토랑도 가격도 괜찮고 맛도 있습니다.
