Days Inn by Wyndham Easley/Greenville/Clemson Area
8/10 Good
"The room was a standard room. I didnt expect it to be fantastic due to the low cost that I paid and it was about what I thought I would pay for. The dresser had items left in it from other guest. One of the handles was missing and one was missing the bottom of the drawer. There were cracks in the tile and obvious damage to parts of the bathroom door and fixtures. I definitely made sure that the doors were locked and took some safety precautions to help myself feel safer being there alone.
That being said... the sheets and bedding were clean, the air conditioning was ice cold and the staff was very friendly and helpful when checking in and checking out."
"Overall this place was excellent. We didn’t know they were under construction when we were coming. And while we look forward to coming back when it’s all done, it was just a shock, especially with young kids we just had to be extra aware. The lake was getting construction done as well so not a pretty view like the pictures you’ll see. The beds are kinda high and the floors are hard. Our youngest knows how to get down from a bed, but the higher bed made him hit his head on the floor. So bed rails as an option would be great for families- or bring one. That said, these beds were the most comfortable beds we have slept on in an hotel!!! Also no tv in the room. And that’s fine, again- just different. We wanted to use it for a sound machine but there wasn’t one. Also the room gets VERY dark at night! We love that! But also may want to bring a nightlight. Food was great! Staff were so sweet and helpful! I hate the library was closed when we were there too. We will be back after renovation to see this property at its fullest !
Bonus points, we saw a baby deer!"
"First we were given the wrong room, so we had to go back to the desk to discover why our key wasn’t working. Our room had a used shower cap hanging in the bathroom on the door hook. The mini fridge was so loud I couldn’t sleep. The hall noise is easily heard.
Breakfast was amazing and the restaurant staff (Spoonbread) were delightful."
