"We stayed in the island lodge. The lodge itself is very nice, only downpoint of the actual lodge is lack of storage space in the kitchen. My biggest complaints about this place were 1. When making the booking it NEVER mentioned that the only way to access your lodge is via a small rowing boat. I kid you not. "This is a hip, charming hotel on a canal bank in Utrecht. The staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. Our room was clean and quiet. The in-room bathroom is very tiny, but it was still well-appointed. We opted for the hotel breakfast, which was an excellent decision. The food was delicious. The lavazza espresso machines did not disappoint. The pastries were fresh. There was even a self-serve Bloody Mary station and cheesecake on the weekend. We’ll definitely stay here again the next time we are in Utrecht. "
