Owners extremely welcoming and helpful. Large room, and very clean. Availability of charging points and different options for lighting nice. Only downside for me was the firm pillows, but I can deal with that. All in all I would recommend this as a budget friendly hotel.

I have stayed a several different hotels in the area and this one was by far the best. All hardwood floors, clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I have seen other reviews regarding bugs in the room. The only bug I saw was a small beetle bug by the window unit. The A/C units are window units that have been installed in the wall. It is normal for small insects to get in through the units. There was no signs of bed bugs or roaches. This will be the hotel I continue to rent from in the future. I was told by the staff the hotel was purchased by a new owner about 2 years ago and he has really tried to improve the property.

If you ain't first you're Last
Last minute hotel for 2023 Yellawood 500 at Taladega Motor Speedway. Comfy beds, good shower water pressure, nice smart tv. About a 50 minute ride to Taladega track.

Staff was very nice. Room was very clean except even though we had a non smoking room… you could still smell the smoke. I didn’t realize you could smoke in any rooms.

We appreciate your rating. Our facility accommodates both smokers and non-smokers and occasionally unbeknownst to us someone smokes in a non-smoking room. We encourage you to contact our front desk as we are a 24-hour facility and we will rectify any issue.

We are sorry your stay wasn't as pleasant as you would have liked. We are making repairs to the room you stayed in, as you have brought a problem to our attention. As far as the towels go. 2 towels per room are standard industry practice, you are always welcome to request extra towels as needed.

The property had been renovated in the last year or so and looked amazing. I'm originally from that area but must travel back from time to time. Will definitely use this hotel again in the future.
