The maids are nice, but untrained. We had the same dead bug and pill on the bathroom floor our whole week’s stay. I cleaned every surface and touchable area upon arrival. It was just dirty.

The road going into the property needed attention. The room was not clean. I wiped down every surface with a Clorox wipe. The floor was not clean. We had a dead bug and pill on the bathroom floor the stayed entire 8 night stay, through several maid services. In 1 day we saw 3 ambulances on premises.

Didn’t stay- they gave away our nonsmoking room
Went to check in and found out that they gave away our nonsmoking room and all they had left was smoking rooms. Due to allergies, this would not work. The front desk was very helpful and suggested that we check with the Holiday Inn Express across the street. Luckily, they had a nonsmoking , double bed suite available for the nights we needed.

Good, basic motel.
It is a great no frills motel. Very clean with somewhat updated decor. Be aware that there is a row of full time occupancy townhouses that face the motel in the same parking lot. It is odd, but posed no problem during our stay. My only complaint is the non working internet. Per previous reviews, it seems to be an ongoing issue. I reported it and was told they frequently have issues with their provider, Spectrum. This was not a huge problem, but I was unable to get ahead on some work that I had planned on doing during my stay because the motel was listed as having wifi. Overall it was good. No major complaints. Also, be aware, the bed was firm. It was quite comfortable though, and I don't usually like firm mattresses.

The Red Roof Inn said they didnt have a reservation for a room with my name or my husbands name when i have had it paid for since March 16th. We had to go to another Hotel and pay for another room. I have filed a claim to get my money back. This is almost 200 dollars that was stolen.
