The motel itself is fine if a little dated. However note: * The restaurant is closed * The golf course is closed In fact, more than 1/2 of Wisemans is closed. So for a 2 night stay, in good weather, to take in the local walks and sights is about all I can recommend

My stay at the property was amazing. The hotel is set in a very quiet and relaxing area and has easy access to dining and convenience shopping. Check in was a breeze and the team were really welcoming, friendly and easy to deal with. I recommend the executive suite option if you get the opportunity to book as it is extremely spacious.

Great country getaway only 1:30 hrs from Sydney. Great property grounds and dine in options at walking distance, Heritage valley cafe, Wiseman Inn and the Bowlo 2 min away. Welcoming staff. Recommend to visit St Albans for the drive through the valley with lunch at the Settlers Arms Inn and a visit of the Old Great North Road / Convict trail.

Who gave this place four stars? It's dated and needs updating badly. Every tile in the shower was cracked, there was mildew different places in the shower. The mattresses were old and sagging. The buildings itself looks nice and strurdy. They need to work on the inside of the rooms.

Beautiful grounds but because of Covid all amenities were closed. Room was clean and tidy but quite dark due to so much dated timberwork. Would look much lighter and fresher if timberwork was painted in a lighter colour. No dishwashing liquid provided so crockery could only be rinsed which isn't ideal, particularly during Covid. Property would benefit from a general update.

Wisemans Ferry overnight
Just an overnight stay, quite comfortable very clean accommodation. Had to go up and down stairs to get to the room which is getting a little difficult in our 70’s. The shower head i room 55 NEEDS ATTENTION, otherwise it was great and appreciated the friendly reception on phone conversations.

We love the tranquillity of the property and also they have a great outside area with a huge swimming pool. Love to come back again and will recommend it.

being such a large facility we were shocked to find that there was only 3 rooms in use near us. We were told to call the night watchman if there were any issues and after ringing the number provided 5 or more times we gave up, went to speak with reception next day only to find it too was locked all day and no return phone calls were made. Reception was still closed the following day when we went to check out. Can't say the service was poor because frankly there was no service by a human.

Stayed here for the night as we had a family wedding to attend nearby. Service was warm and friendly.Room was clean and comfortable but room was older style. Would stay here again if in the area.

The restaurant was closed the whole time. Found 2 live cockroaches in our room the next morning. The pool water was green. The whole place needs a lot of maintenance. On the up side it's a very short stroll across the street to the Inn with great food, drink and chilled summer afternoon vibe.
