"Rooms are clean. Staff for most part were great. We had some issues with the running water on the toilet as well as the shower head not standing up and falling. We mentioned it to them but they never came to fix it. Luckily my partner is good with fixing things so he fixed the issue. When we mentioned it again at check out…there was no apology at all!!! She just made a note and that was that! No sorry for the inconvenience…not a single word That upset me! Place is a maze so be prepared to get lost a lot"

"The hotel is lovely and great for a few days- to a week. It is in a great position above the town with a 10 minute walk to the centre of the port although up hill on the way back. What lets it down was the buffet breakfast and some (not all) of the staff, who can be heard helpful."

"It’s a very big hotel the staff are very good , the cocktail waiter at the bar by the stairs is brilliant, it’s spotless clean, the food is very good , my only thing was I didn’t realise it would be so busy a lot of young family’s which if that’s what you are it’s perfect for you , I just never realised it when I booked ! Overall it deserves a 5"

"Beautiful property in an amazing cove! Staff were super friendly. Swim in the sea, a couple of bar/restaurants on property, close to Hvar (free shuttle). A couple critiques was the service was a little slow, the beds are hard. Nothing a featherbed wouldn’t fix. Rooms are on the smaller side and lots of stairs throughout the property & covered pool. I would come back again!! Really enjoyed the peace and quiet!"

"Beautiful hotel with a nice pool and a perfect location just a few minutes walk from the harbour and at the entrance to path Zlatni Rat beach. We had a room in the roof with large balcony and beautiful sea view."

"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Teranea! The hotel was beautiful, very clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The staff was especially nice, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our stay, which made the experience even better. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend Teranea to anyone visiting Hvar. Thank you for such a lovely stay! ❤️🇭🇷"
