The staff, the ones I interacted with, were very friendly and helpful. The room I selected was exactly what I needed. No luxuries just the minimum for what I needed. I would return to this property again and will suggest it to anyone I know wishing to travel to Longyearbyen. Thank you for an amazing trip of a lifetime."

"Excellent experience at the Svalbard Lodge. Room was clean, although a little outdated. Loved having a washer. The staff was great. We got tired of taking our shoes off every time we went from one building to the other, but that’s the way things are done in Longyearbyen. Dinner at the Polfareren was fabulous! It was a birthday trip and they made it special. "
