As a result of the COVID-19 outbreak, travelling now comes with more challenges. Cast your eye over the following tips before jumping on your flight to Sunshine Coast:

• Before you lock in a flight, find out if any travel bans or restrictions apply — in both your destination and origin. Get up-to-date information by reviewing government websites.
• When you pass through airport checkpoints, keep your face mask on. You will be required to briefly lower it to verify your identity. Those who refuse to wear a mask may face civil penalties and may also be escorted from the building.

• Separate any food you're carrying for X-ray scanning. Putting it in a clear plastic bag and into a bin reduces the need for a TSA agent to touch and inspect your belongings.
