"This hotel is a bit out dated and rundown. Although the lobby dining area was very clean, the rooms could have been cleaner. Cleaner and updated. The $150 deposit for cleaning is a bit much, $150 worth of cleaning is not happening there. Sadly is probably due to short staffing and not the staffs fault."

"It's just old and worn out. Rooms were clean but the place is 20 years out of date and located in a sketchy place. Towels were skinny and scratchy. It's the kind of place where the night manager's entire family is eating smelly pizza in the lobby when you check in. Positive comment: there were no smoking signs everywhere."

"The staff are very friendly and even offer you cookies upon arrival. Room was clean and comfortable with a fridge and microwave. I would suggest staying on the upper level as you can hear every single footstep. Also be aware that there are railroad tracks on each side of the hotel and they run constantly. It was worth the price compared to other hotels on a busy concert weekend at Notre Dame."
