I hate writing negative reviews but I feel that I have no choice in this case. My wife and I booked an "apartment" room for two nights with our 3 kids. We were so disappointed that we left after just one night (even though we didn't receive a refund).
This place is NOT a 4-star hotel. It's much closer in quality to a youth hostel. It feels run down and crowded. The staff at the front desk were nice when we arrived but did not take our complaints seriously the following day.
There was no phone in the room to call the reception, so any time we needed anything, we had to go all the way to the front desk. The AC remote wasn't working (so we had to take it to the front desk to get batteries). We were only given 1 roll of toilet paper (for 5 people).. so once again, we had to go down and get more from the front desk. Worse yet - there was mold on the wall in the shower, and we ran out of hot water while showering! The mattresses are low quality (you can feel the springs). Also, the pool is small, very cold (even in July), and has very little sitting area - all the chairs were taken and we had trouble finding a place to sit and put our towels down. In short, we did not enjoy any aspect of our stay.
While we did not expect a 5-star experience, we DID expect a four-star hotel, when in fact nothing could be further from the truth. The hotel manager didn't even bother replying to our email to her detailing our stay.
I'm writing this review to spare others from the same experience.
