Best value for good accommodation, Gambian owned, excellent beach location. Most people book 1/2 years in advance, but sometimes cancellations give availability nearer your dates

Oh man, where do I start? Lemme start with Mariam, the ever helpful, cheerful receptionist. She is a credit to Metzy. Give her a raise, I say! Baboucarr was another receptionist who went over and beyond for me. Barrow from Housekeeping kept my room squeaky clean. The hotel is well located, walking distance from the beach which was handy as I was there every Wednesday jogging. The rooms, well mine, was L shaped and spacious. So spacious I could do my floor exercises right there and not outside...

Everything was great about this hotel. Out of the main gates and you have restaurants, clubs, mini shops especially for buying water. My wife tells me the Spa Anti-stress massage by Janaba Krubally was excellent. You can also book excursions to Senegal safari with local travel agents - Brilliant! Nice restaurants within the hotel. The location was lovely and the staff could not be kinder and more helpful. It was the low season, however, and it was perhaps a little too quiet.

Senegambia Beach Hotel came recommended by a family member and it didn't disappoint. It served as a perfect base to explore this incredible country. The hotel is set in a perfect location on the beach with the jungle spilling into the grounds, there's daily visits from native monkeys, vultures, tropical birds and the odd nile monitor. Great little find, big rooms, advise don't pay the extra for a studio with kitchen as not req. They provide you with a fridge in the standard room and the rooms are big. The food was lovely and above all staff were always polite, helpful and smiling. Onlyy 300 dalasi return into the strip. But many other hotels and restaurants walkable. Fatou , fruit lady gave great portions and Babu juice man was very friendly and delicious juice.

It was a nice and quiet location at Serrekunda. But in my first night some people held a wedding banquet downstairs, with loud music until midnight. The room was huge with super big balcony and unbeatable sea view. The restaurant served good food and I had all my breakfast, lunch and dinner there. But I needed to pay for the meals in cash in local currency, unless I could work out how to use the local mobile phone payment app, which I could not. I loved the direct access to the beach. But...

Very nice and very good

The staff went out their way to make my granddaughters birthday very special. They were all really helpful & friendly. The setting is beautiful & quite peaceful.The pool accommodates younger children & is very safe. At weekends there is a fun karaoke night & a bouncy castle for children. Really enjoyed the stay and would definitely return.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is near the beach and it has a pool. All the rooms (except for 1 i think) open towards the courtyard where the pool is and look out towards the see. Breakfast was included in the price and served between 7-10. Lunch and dinner were available in the restaurant in the hotel. The wifi worked well in both the room and communal areas.

I was a single traveller and paid for a standard room, this turned out too a small bungalow in beautiful gardens. It's a small complex hotel very friendly clean and nothing is too much trouble. I would definately recommend this hotel and will be going back .
