Best Western stands up to its name at clean and friendly service. Although most Best Western Hotels have rooms available with refrigerators and microwaves and allow the customer to control the heat and air conditioner with thermostats in the rooms, unfortunately this Best Western Hotel did not. However, this Best Western had the desired amenities (pool, sauna, spa, and restaurant in the hotel with stores, restaurants, and bahnhof 5-10 minute walking distance away).

in Hotels.com while I did reservation it mentioned free parking, actually need to pay Euro 10/night Generally the hotel is comfortable, nice staff, and clean room.

Property is near the heart of Nurtingen, close to restaraunts, NGU, shopping street and Xmas market. Hotel staff was friendly and good business hotel

The property was great. Clean rooms, great breakfast option! Staff was very helpful. Only downgraded on two as they were renovation the restaurants onsite. Would have loved to have tried them.

Good hotel, breakfast always the same - warm
If they could manage to keep the breakfast food 'hot' then this would be 5 star review. But to start the day with the breakfast always warm (at best) and has been for many years, its just a shame. Evening food is fantastic and all staff very friendly.

Was disappointing No mini bar No spoons to make a cup of coffee & only 1 coffee & 1 milk Staff was rude on check out Tv position was wrong as could only see from 1 side of the bed Parking was extra Breakfast was extra Even though we paid over £115 for 1 night Rooms was right next to main road so heard all traffic in the throughout the stay Have to say disappointing As we travelled all through Europe Europe stayed in 7 countries in hotels & apartments and this the worst

Stayed here on a few occasions now due to visits to a location business in the town Fantastic German bar around the corner. Ideally situated in the town. Nice walking distance also to place of business, local bars and shops

The breakfast are very good, we can make our own orange juice. There is a fresh honey bee. There are welcome drink in the front door and the room are clean.

Several nights stay
This is our second stay at this hotel in last 12 months when visiting relatives. Do not take breakfast as quite expensive and there are several bakeries for smaller appetites withing 10 mins walking. Only one issue this stay in that no towels were left for our late night return. This was quickly resolved with a call to reception. Did not use pool/spa as latter only open at 5pm (till 9pm) when we were always out. Would have like to use in the morning. Car parking extra 10E per night but plenty of room on lower floor near lift to our bedroom. Air Con still hard to control when hot outside, and had to use min setting and endure noisy fan overnight in a quiet room

Nice hotel, good place to explore the town.

Everything ok till the check out. Mr. Benjamin at the Reception desk needs severely Hotel Tourism Traings. His reactions with his hands in head when he is stressed are not ok. reconsider that person.

We selected Best Western am Schlossberg because one member of our party has mobility problems however I would stay there again regardless because of the lovely rooms, excellent breakfast (additional fee) and wonderful service. The location is ideal as well if you are hoping to catch the Christmas market or be near public transportation. The indoor pool and sauna was also a plus. We swam one morning and enjoyed that quite a bit.

Run down area of town. Hotel was noisy and had few
The pictures suggest a business hotel in. Charming town. Unfortunately, Nurtingen, although with attractive architecture in the old quarter seemed full of people drinking on benches. It wasn't a pleasant place to wander around at night. The hotel had poor aircon, noisy echoing floors and walls and a bar with terrible service. 15 min wait to get a drink. A good value alternative if you are flying from Stuttgart airport, but nothing else to recommend
