"We have stayed here many times, and overall, we continue to enjoy our stays. The hotel has had some recent updates, which are nice. I do wish the smoking area wasn’t still located so close to the front entrance.
We stayed in a king room, and the room itself was nice and comfortable. My only complaint about the bed area is the pillows—they tend to go flat and could definitely be better.
The bathroom doesn’t have much of a countertop since most of the space is taken up by a very large sink, so counter space is limited.
The breakfast has changed and, in my opinion, isn’t quite as good as it used to be. The prepared eggs were very pale and didn’t have much flavor. On the positive side, there are several different kinds of yogurt to choose from, and coffee and tea are always available. They also have complimentary cookies by the check-in desk, which is a nice touch.
There is plenty of parking, which is definitely a plus. The hotel is generally quiet and has a nice indoor pool. I also requested a third-floor room, and they were able to accommodate that request.
Overall, we’ve stayed here many times and would stay again. There are a few things that could be improved, but it remains a comfortable and convenient place to stay."
"This Inn was a pleasant surprise. It is well maintained, clean rooms, friendly staff, is quiet and has a wonderful selection of continental breakfast items. We will definitely be back!"
"A quick and easy check in and a clean, updated room is enough cause for an excellent review, and the large pool, comfortable whirlpool, and simple hot breakfast make it an obvious choice for anyone staying in the area."
"This place is a gem. The well restored to near new condition in the 1950’s Motel was so much fun. Very well maintained with a great location in the heart of East Sturgeon Bay. I highly recommend this property if you’re up to a trip back in time!"
