"The White House Inn is a lovely hotel. The hotel is quaint and pretty. The staff is friendly and helpful. We had 2 or 3 small complaints. We arrived just before dinner and decided to eat in the restaurant at the hotel. My husband had certain eating restrictions so we looked at the menu on line before going down to eat. Unfortunately, the menu online was completely different from the actual menu at the table. The bathroom is very small with no place to put any toiletries I brought with me. A shelf above the toilet and/or a medicine cabinet would have solved that problem. It would also have been helpful to have a phone in the room to call downstairs for any questions. I do recommend this place in spite of these small issues"

"Check in - instructions given ahead of time for our late arrival. Friendly staff. We had a sweet encounter with Amanda - housekeeper/maintenance. She was so down to earth and welcoming energy. Properly was gorgeous and rooms were clean quiet and spacious. Pool - my kids enjoyed! Thanks for tunes Views - amazing"

"The lobby and rooms were well maintained and clean. Daytime hotel staff was professional and friendly. Nighttime staff, although may have been doing his job, was curt when inquired about the bar (closed) and fire pit access (“if it’s on. Otherwise, I don’t have the key for it.” A bunch of us sat on the front porch that evening but many retreated early as the temperatures dropped. Although our stay (6/24-6/25/26) was brief, not having access to anything except for our room, lobby, porch, and hallway seating, the lack of access to reasonable accommodations was disappointing."
