They were in the process of revamping part of the front entrance, which was a little inconvenient, but it was still OK. Had to be done. I’m sure it will be nice when it’s finished.

We truly apolologize for the pool being closed. We had a recent fire that occurred prior to some much needed maintenance repairs that were originally scheduled to occur. Unfortunately, contractors have become delayed which pushes out the project even further. We have made notices available on all of our website since March 12, 2024 and give guest's the opportunity to cancel prior to checking in just in case if there was another hotel in the area. For any current notices for any Hilton property, it is best to check their direct webpage or call the hotel directly. Again, I truly apologize for the inconvenience and hope that we can welcome you back one day and provide you a better overall experience.

Hi Sara, we apologize for the poor experience you and your family had due to the fire emergency. We understand the scare and the impact the smoke had. Fortunately, no one was hurt and it was contained quickly, but we recognize the impact is wide. We will gladly award you Hilton Honors points for the inconvenience of moving rooms.
Check in was quick and easy.
Late return and it was quiet and safe.
Parking on property.
Continental breakfast was good.
We got the pool to ourselves early Sunday.

We were on the ground floor which had a basement feel. The HVAC in the room was incredibly noisy. The breakfast was nice. The full refrigerator was nice. The bed was smaller than a queen even though it was advertised as a queen. It’s not a vacation destination but it is fine for an overnight stop.

Over all the stay was very good. Having a small kitchenette proved to be helpful.
It was kind of weird because the closet was in the bathroom. That was probably the biggest drawback.

Property and Room appeared to be just tired, hotel definitely needs more staff, they folks on staff are ready willing and able to assist, but there isn't enough hands for all the tasks. Site is a 6.5-7 out of 10, could easily be a 9/10 with some help.

We were very disappointed with our suite as it was advertised as a Queen but it was very obvious it was a double bed. The front desk employees would not answer us when we asked if they were double beds. It was obvious they knew they were not being truthful about a Queen size. Very disappointed.

We are sorry about the clarification on the room if it was a queen or not, but we looked into it and measured the bed and it was in fact a queen. We do not like to disappoint our guests.
A fabulous place to stay when traveling thru Conn.
Homewood Suites is the place to stay when traveling thru southern Connecticut... especially if traveling with dogs. The suites are comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast is great - not something you can typically find since the pandemic. And best of all, the staff is friendly, kind, and very helpful.

The front staff was super lazy and unhelpful until a Manager actually fulfilled our request. There were no towels in our room or available when we arrived for check in. There were hardly any snacks available for purchase at the store. My room didn't have a toaster oven, mixing utensils or even glasses. The pool was disgusting and the room smelled like mold. The front desk didn't have any room deodorizer either. I've stayed here many times and this used to be my "go-to" spot when in town but this was by far the worst experience ever and we will NOT be returning.

We were upgraded to a two bedroom suite which was very clean and quiet, maybe because we endured the traffic on route 15! Beds are aging but otherwise everything else seemed in good shape. Breakfast was typical hotel fare but plentiful and large area to dine. Overall a pleasant stay.

Neat accommodation with good style
Food labeling will be helpful for those with dietary restrictions. If possible low sugar and non-dairy meals will complement current provisions.
All staff were very friendly and helpful, fully equipped kitchen in the room with utensils. Washing and drying machines 24/7. Overall Experian was excellent and with the beautiful local areas plus New York a short train ride away I will definitely stop

The hotel was nice. We would definitely stay again. Only one problem the room was not ready by 4. They had a shift change and the first girl did not tell the next employee that we were waiting on our room and that she was going to let us know as we waited in the patio area. So he had no idea that we were there. The manager did upgrade our room and apologized.
