"Clean room, but laundry smell and misleading "breakfast" The room itself was clean and comfortable — no complaints there. But all the bedsheets and towels had a bad smell. They were clearly washed, but something was off — the hotel should use fabric softener and a laundry fragrance to fix that. The bigger issue: the listing suggests breakfast is included, but there is no breakfast. Just a small "take and go" shelf with cheese bars, protein bars, yogurt, and coffee supplies. That's misleading — don't book expecting a real breakfast. Apart from that, everything was good."

"My family and I had an amazing stay at Honey Rock Landing! This place is truly one of a kind. Staying in a cave and being able to look up at the stars made the entire experience feel incredibly unique and memorable. The farm-to-table cuisine was fantastic and made the stay even more special. We also loved having access to the boathouse and spending time paddle boarding on the pond. The natural-built swimming pool was another highlight—such a cool experience! Honey Rock Landing is so much more than just a place to stay. It’s an experience our family will remember for a long time. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and relaxing getaway!"

"The Riverwood Resort is a small, but conveniently located hotel at a reasonable price. Unfortunately our experience was disrupted by a water / sewer problem impacting the hotel building. Staff reacted promptly and were accommodating, Since we chose to move to another hotel, we received a prompt refund for the second night of our 2 night stay."

"Clean and beds were comfortable. They are using portable heaters so not the warmest but we were not in the cabin much during the day. The view of lake is nice. They forgot to stock extra rolls of toliet paper so we had to go to the lodge to get more. Breakfast is one cereal or instant oatmeal and only available for an hour. The owners were pleasant. They did not respond in the app so you have to call them. "
