"Just off motorway junction. Just after the roundabout exit on to Blackbrook Park Ave, then turn up the hill on to Deane Gate Ave, hotel is on the right.
Can drop off straight in front of reception (straight forward from road entrance) but only briefly (yellow lines). Free parking next to the pool and behind the buildings to the left as entering the property.
There are 3 disabled parking places by pool building and 2 just to left of entrance towards carpark.
Efficient check-in at desk just inside entrance. Staff friendly.
Room was in well maintained condition and clean. Only had plug sockets couldn't find any USB outlets so had to use my chargers. Internet easy to connect to, no password, and got reasonable speed for email etc.
The swimming pool is in a separate building and free to hotel guests. It has a spa bath and sauna in the pool area. If planning to swim lengths suggest getting there early in the morning.
There are several eating places within walking distance. There is a Harvester, if you head down the hill (left from entrance) then right and right, that does a full breakfast or evening meals, and a KFC, head right from entrance, then after the radio station, right on to the path to take you over the bridge over road into the trading estate.
I ate at the hotel in the evening, the pie was excellent, if a little small. Felt the prices were a little higher than I would have expected, but food inflation has been bad this year.
Will stay here again in the future."
