Christmas Stay
Week long stay over Xmas to be with children and granddaughter who live locally. The GM Hagersten is well placed for us and convenient for the Tunnelbana for when we need to travel into the city. A comfortable stay and good nights sleep for when the barnbarn has tired us out! Staff, no matter what duty, are always friendly and so attentive. Another enjoyable stay, see you again soon and a Got Nytt Ar to all!

Clean, good food, friendly staff and a subway station located within walking distance. If you drive, parking is free at the back of the hotel. WiFi is available and free plus coffee too. It would be nice to have a refrigerator in the room.

Rooms so small I had to upgrade to avoid feeling claustrophobic. Then on the last day, card got blocked 2 hours before check out, needed to make multiple trips back and forth between the room and the reception before i could get inside the room. Then when I asked for late check out because of the whole card key fiasco, they charged me 200 SEK extra! Very basic hotel, am surprised it is a four star. No tissue paper, no mini bar, no room service, room did not get cleaned as promised. This is probably my worst experience in a hotel (note that I actually upgraded to the best possible room)

Better than it looks
Hotel looks like a prison from the outside, but is a typical business hotel on the inside. Staff helpful and friendly, and let me check in early. Nice busy atmosphere in the bar in the evening, and nice buffet breakfast (although the tiny plate size requires multiple trips !). It's a bit "in the middle of nowhere" with nothing really within walking distance - apart from the tube station, which is very handy, about 5 mins walk away. The line gets you straight into the city centre quickly, so this actually makes the hotel well placed. I'd definitely consider it again when next in Stockholm

Very very hot!!!
Good size room but extremely hot with in the room! No air conditioning or fan! When widow was open the noise was unbearable as the hotel is next to a motorway

Bathroom has two pieces of broken glass on the floor (probably from the missing barroom divider) that stayed there the whole two days, meaning that bathroom was not cleaned.

Great value, clean, nice guest and good service.
The hotel was a great value based on high hotels prices in downtown Stockholm. The metro from the hotel to downtown was excellent, but did require a 10 minute walk.

Convenient hotel
The hotel is located in an area next to the major highway crossing Stockholm. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean and furnished in a modern style. However, some noise is heard from the traffic on the street next door, which makes it a little uncomfortable. There is free parking but the breakfast is not for free. The hotel is recommended for the travelers stopping temporarily on their way, or for short stays. The access is mostly by car, and very cumbersome by local transportation.

Hotel- better than expected.
On arrival area was real suburbs. I took short metro ride from town. Hotel is around 10min walk from station. Included brakfast was good especially pastries. You can eat outside aswell. Room itself was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Only one bad thing is that there was some noise from nearby bussy motorway, but i can live with that. Overall very recommended.

This hotel is out in the suburbs with no other amenities to be found. It is a fair (walking) distance from the metro station, but there is a sign along the way to indicate you are going in the right direction. It was a pleasant walk though. Arrival and check-in went well, but once I got to my floor I noticed the carpets were very dirty. The trim on my door was damaged, while not really an issue - it certainly helped to detract from the appeal. The breakfast was horrible. Everything was cheap processed and lacked flavor. The scrambled eggs tasted like they were powder and the bacon lacked flavor entirely. I could not finish my meal.

Great value hotel in stockholm
Very good hotel for the price compared to most hotels in Stockholm. A little far out from the city centre but only 10 min walk to metro station and then 5 stops to city centre. The rooms were pretty good decor wise but were a little noisy from nearby rooms so the sleep but the breakfast was good and all in all would stay here again next time I am in Stockholm.

Clean, efficient, friendly, breakfast excellent. Easy to access from motorway. 10 min walk from metro rail. Only complaint is that all the smokers stand at the entrance so wait for your taxi on the other side of the road (if it's not raining).

Nice Hotel to stay in Stockholm
Came to visit Stockholm. The hotel was in good condition and clean, not far from city center and not expensive. Too bad that the staff couldn't tell us a bit more about what was around (e.g. Forest to practice running) and didn't explain that the sauna was in the changing room of a communal sport center. But the Staff was really nice and smiling. The food was good and the breakfast staff was really helpful. We had a very great time.

Nice room and a good breakfast. The hotel was fully booked during the stay and because of this the parking lot was a mess. Difficult to find space as cars were scattered all over the place. The receptionist wasn't in any hurry to serve the customers.

Rather disappointing weekend stay
Stayed first weekend in October - room was too warm even though radiator was off. Road noise was very noticeable with window open. No tea/coffee making facilities. Left do-not-disturb notice on door whilst down for late breakfast which resulted in room not being serviced even though notice changed to Please-makeup-room at 10am. Receptionist did apologise and did come up and remove old towels - clean ones had been left handing on door handle. Breakfast was good. No shops within short walking distance room. Can get to hotel via metro and 5 min walk. Hotel no longer part of Accor group which we had not been informed of since initially booking.

A great hotel away from tourist crowds...
We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights: -located in a residential neighborhood -10 min walk from Vastertorp metro station (Red line) - Breakfast was included in our reservation: breads, cold meets, cheeses, eggs, crepes, cereals, fruits and veggies, tea, coffee, juices -The room itself was very clean and comfortable -The bathroom was very clean - could use more hooks or towel bars, so the towels don't constantly fall on the floor -comfortable bed, clean linens - No AC in the room, but we opened the windows to keep the room cool - free wifi - strong signal both in the lobby and in the room -a deposit safe and a coffeemaker in the room -The reception staff is very helpful and courteous, speak excellent English - which is so helpful when trying to navigate a foreign country -It takes an easy ride of about 20 minutes to get from Vastertorp to Gamla Stan (Old Town with all the tourist attractions) or Central Station by subway. Overall, a very good hotel. Don't be put off by its relative distance from the tourist attractions: we actually enjoyed coming back to the hotel's neighborhood after spending a whole day among tourists and attractions.

Client being ignored --- staff need to be trained
clean and refreshing. But the staff lack of training, if a new client is standing there waiting, while the staff is serving another one, she should show attention and say "I will take care of you very soon", but the staff treated the waiting client like a tree.
