1. Lobster Apartments

Split

"It did not look like the pictures. The pictures showed it to be modern, bright and cheerful. It was not. The pots still had grease on them. No coffee pot. No coffee or tea provided or shampoo or shower gel. It was supposed to be near airport. It was not. It was supposed to have free airport shuttle. It did not. The immediate area was full of graffiti. The backyard was unkempt. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. "

A modern bathroom with a freestanding bathtub, a round woven rug, and a bedside table with a lamp.

Hotel Aria

Grbavac

10/10 Excellent

We honestly could not find fault with anything at this beautiful hotel. The rooms are light, modern and airy, with an excellent layout and plenty of storage space – something that’s often missing in hotel rooms. Every member of staff we met was exceptional. Special mentions must go to Ana and Ante on reception, who were both incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable about the local area and couldn’t have been more helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast restaurant has stunning views across the...

What a lovely hotel right on the beach. Staff are very friendly and helpful check in was quick and we went straight to the room although it was only 11am. Lovely large room and bathroom with bath and separate walk in shower plenty of wardrobe space tea/coffee facilities and a balcony with a beautiful sea view lovely watching the sun go down each day. Breakfast was included we ate outside each morning on the terrace a selection of juices/tea/coffee fresh fruit cerials nuts yougurts etc plus hot...

Le Meridien Lav, Split

Miljevac

10/10 Excellent

A fantastic 5 star hotel. Stayed here for a weeks holiday. We just wanted somewhere to relax and unwind. The hotel was fully booked, but never felt full. There are three restaurants and we ate in all three. Really lovely food in each and they are able to cater to all tastes. The restaurant near the front serves Croatian food and they have singers on some nights. There are other restaurants not a part of the hotel on the marina side, we ate in a couple. The baramundi cafe serves lunch and...

Hotel Salona Palace

Solin

10/10 Excellent

We had a lovely three-night stay at Salona Palace Hotel and would definitely recommend it. It’s a very nice four-star hotel with good facilities, including a spa with a sauna. The outdoor pool is much larger than the indoor pool, although both were quite cold – not really an issue when it’s hot outside. We stayed in a family room overlooking the pool, which was spacious and comfortable. The only downside was the glazed window between the bathroom and bedroom, which let both light and...

My friend and I stayed at this hotel recently as we were going to ultra music festival. Overall we loved our stay here and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone staying in the podstrana or split area. A big thank you to the cleaning ladies for being so patient with us! Also all the staff on the concierge were so lovely. Pros: - Very quiet, podstrana is outside of split - Extremely clean!! - Wonderful staff - Free WiFi throughout, slow at times - Really close to pebble beach and...

Amphora's Garden Residence

Znjan

10/10 Excellent

An excellent hotel on the outskirts of Split. The Amphora’s Garden is an annex to the main Amphora Hotel, but with its own stunning rooftop infinity pool which at times felt exclusive. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout, with very friendly staff, and excellent amenities in the main Amphora hotel, including a rooftop bar. Our room was very nice, and very well set out and maintained. The only downside was the lack of local dining options, particularly on the beachfront work that can be...
