This hotel does what it says in the tin. Central, clean, easy to walk everywhere. It is a no frills hotel but had everything you need and the room was completely refreshed for my second night. Bed was very comfortable and it was nice to have a room where you can open a window and not have to rely on air conditioning.(for some reason I was given an ‘acessible room’ which did make me smile. I love this hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful and allowed me to keep my luggage stored for a few hours at reception after check out so I could look around Glasgow. The room was very clean and comfortable and quiet and I had a good night's sleep. The shower was excellent. The price is very reasonable. The hotel is in the very centre of Glasgow and near the bus station and train stations which is so convenient.

The Arrochar Hotel is delightful. The staff are all friendly and helpful, and the hotel has a homely feel. I was surprised that several residents had dogs with them, so it's a dog friendly hotel. The lounge and bar area is cosy. One can choose to eat dinner in the lounge area near the bar, or in the dining room. Our room was spacious and had a lovely view over the lake. We really enjoyed our stay.
