Construction work was apparent with a lift parked right outside our window blocking our view . That is one of the reasons we came. The VIEW. There was a letter in our room explaining about Construction work with no offer of a discount. Just signed at end "Cheers". What a slap in the face. Why would we cheer to Construction work blocking our view. At least signed with apologies.

We had such a lovely stay! The surrounding area is so breathtaking. The property is lbeautiful and well maintained. Staff was extremely friendly, though the restaurant was definitely understaffed. I realize this is an ongoing post COVID issue so it wasn’t upsetting for us, just felt like the staff was being stretched. It was an excellent stay nonetheless!

We had a great time at Skamanish Lodge. The spa treatments were amazing, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was outstanding. Highly recommend for somebody looking for a nice get-a-way.
