Building was old and worn out; not well maintained. Water supply ran ice cold and hot in the shower. Sink and toilet in separate rooms. Light from room next door shining through under the wall. Very noisy.

Staff was less than friendly at check-in. Felt like we were inconveniencing her. In room air conditioner was old and controls were missing. Room was clean and comfortable. Parking is limited, as the lot is shared with the hotel next door. Overall, hotel is a bit long in the tooth, but the room is clean and comfortable.

Not a good option in Stephenville
This hotel is in need of a serious upgrade/makeover. Rooms are dated, A/C did not work well and everything was at best average! There are not many options in Stephenville and we chose this location as a stop over before catching the morning Ferry back to North Sydney. We wish we had stayed the course and drove the distance to Port Au Basque. Hotel was also well off the beaten path and no where near the highway. We were swayed by some of the other reviews but they definitely overrated this hotel. Also, there is no restaurant on sight, it is closed and we told under renovations but we did not see any evidence of work in process?

We didn't even stay. It was a dive and was NOT what the photos show online. The place is a rathole. We ended up staying e.sewhere.

Friendly staff and comfortable rooms.
It’s not a new hotel so don’t expect sleek and modern but it is very clean and comfortable. We tried to cancel our reservation to drive for a few more km that night but we were too late to get a refund so we decided to stay. Glad we did. Has a bar with pool table and darts, great place to relax for the night after travelling.

Very nice experience.
Very comfortable, very clean room. Staff were very helpful and friendly. On site lounge has a welcoming laid back atmosphere. As a motorcycle traveller, it is always nice to find a quiet and comfortable place to rest. The Dreamcatcher ticked all the boxes to wind down at the end of a day's travel and for a great nights sleep.

Very uncomfortable
We had an old couch that you couldn't get out of when you sit on it you sink to the floor I sat in it once the table and chairs was hard the tub was old and dark spots on it the plug For the tub was rusty. But the cleaning ladies did the best they could. Not please at all won't stay there anymore.

The hotel was old and in need of repairs.
This hotel is old and in need of repairs. There weren't enough towels or facecloths. The second night we stayed there the worker charged us a $200 damage fee that was refunded when we checked out!! This is something that I've never had to pay at a hotel before. We were also charged more than the price quoted when I booked through Expedia!! The hotel worker did refund me when I complained. I would not use this hotel again!!
