"Lovely quiet, rural area. Fabulous forestry, rocky outcrops, scenery so green. Great for walking, cycling, exploring this part of northern Bavaria. Even though rural roads, superb, easy from A to B. Staff lovely in the hotel. Spoke good English for restricted German speakers. Comfort Room spacious and clean. Little terrace with outside seating. Great views. No sound issues from rooms next door or above (we were ground floor). Great shower! But no tea/coffee facilities in room. The usual...

"Die folgende Bewertung schildert unsere Meinung von dieser Unterkunft.(Meinungen sind unterschiedlich) Die Pension Hofer liegt sehr ruhig in Bad Berneck. Parkplätze sind kostenlos vorhanden. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich, das einchecken verlief sehr zügig. Unser Zimmer im 2 Stock war zweckmäßig eingerichtet, ohne viel Extras. Es war eben ein Pensions Zimmer, kein Hotel. "Nice place and worked well even if staff were on vacation (only staff was someone fixing breakfast). Positive was several parking places. Only negative was the narrow beads placed almost in the middle of the room (but if you don't move, you don't fall out of bed). "
