12. For Students Only Nottingham Two

Nottingham

"Prices were very low and safe. There is a fast food restaurant nearby, which is convenient. Note that there was shampoo and soap, but no amenities such as hairdryers or toothbrushes. No air-conditioning, which can be a bit painful in hot weather. Heat can easily build up. Also, note that this is an accommodation for international students who stay here for more than a few months, and it is rare to find a guest like me on Expedia who only stays for 3-4 days and uses it like a hotel. Top Stathern Hotel Reviews

Lace Market Hotel

8/10 Good

"I enjoyed my stay there and the breakfast was good. My only negative was the heating. In my room, there was an old radiator on the wall which didn't work, and another contraption that may have been air conditioning, which did nothing. I had to use a plug in electric heater, which must be expensive to operate. I would use again, because my son was in a different room and the heating worked there. Just needs some tlc."

Crowne Plaza Nottingham by IHG

8/10 Good

"Overall the food/drinks facilities and the bedroom were excellent. However, the elevator refurbishment was very poorly managed, and was difficult to navigate. The front desk staff were efficient but brisk and not very inviting in representing the hotel. Was surprised to spend nearly £20 for a Malibu and coke and rose wine. Would think twice about returning."

Urban Hotel Grantham

8/10 Good

"I was very impressed by the standard and size of the room - very good value for money. I was a bit cold overnight even with the heater on as the windows seem quite draughty but other than that it was very good. Rooms are well equipped with everything you’d expect. There was a notice saying no housekeeping unless requested so I was a bit surprised that someone had been in to my room and tidied up during the day. Good that breakfast is now available. There was a fairly basic choice of items on the buffet but the cooked breakfast was good and again all very good value for money."

The Grand Hotel Leicester by The Unlimited Collection

8/10 Good

"I’ve booked two standard for a trip in April 26. On arrival, we were given a family room and informed that that was the last room they had available. Entry into the room electrics in did not work it was cold with one bed settee prepared and a double bed. Upon complaint and insistence that our original booking was two standard. And given our health condition that’s the reason we chose the option after a healthy discussion and pointing out our health needs. An indicating that “Grand” should be dropped from “ The GrandHotel. As the price is charged did not show the services and the quality of the room. We were given the two standard bedroom that we booked for originally. It was explained that the Hotel was going through renovation and had limited option to offer. Considering our booking was done in April and our day was in October 26. There was no prior warning of any changes until we arrived at the hotel. Next day we had a nice breakfast thanked the manager and left. If we’re given the original booking initially We would’ve had a pleasant experience and a positive regard for the desk staff. Be mindful, it’s old Hotel going through renovation an updates to modernise."

Village Hotel Nottingham

8/10 Good

"Hotel has changed from when we had stayed in the passed few years, used to be a really lovely hotel but I think it's more down to the people that stay not so much the hotel,It was convenient for our needs, Breakfast is far to early 9am it finishes so we cancelled ours check out is 11 so that's good so why breakfast can't be a little later,?"
