Deep gorge with crystal clear turquoise water. Reminded me a lot of Mistaya Canyon in Banf National Park in Canada.
One of the earliest national parks in Europe and the only one in Slovenia, the Triglav NP. Named after the highest summit in Slovenia. The staff were lovely and the facilities were delightful. To walk round the Lake then have a sauna or fun in the pools is a real treat. It was very busy as it was school holidays which we didn’t realise. The buffet restaurant is also a great offering. Huge variety.
