"We go back to Radisson at Stansted over and over again due to its proximity to the terminal (very quick walk) but the positives stop there and this time I find myself wondering why, as repeat customers (we must book a room at least 5 or 6 times a year), we were assigned a horribly tired and dated disabled room with terrible shower water pressure and no ability to adjust the temperature. The room was warm, the air conditioning poor, and with no ability to open the windows for air! All for a pricely sum to boot !"

"PROS- Good shower Quiet Comfy bed Proximity to airport CONS- Air con didn’t get cold enough and shut off in the night TINY window with view onto walls / roof Breakfast disappointing in range and quality - Premier Inn does better For what we needed - a place to sleep before an early flight - it did the job, but hugely overpriced for the quality."

"The Green Man public house is awesome dating back to the 1300’s and is full of character. Although our room was in the block at the rear of the of the pub, was clean and tidy, there were areas which were not good. The bathroom was in need of renovation, the extractor fan was thick with dust and there was a section of skirting board in the bedroom which had actually rotted! Several lamps on the room didn’t work. The king size bed was very comfortable affording a great sleep. Had to forgo breakfast on one morning as they had no eggs or fresh salmon left! However the food was excellent having eaten there two evenings and the following day managed an excellent breakfast. The pricing of the food overall is very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. That all said however, feel that I would stay again - better than a Premier Inn. the overall stay was excellent given the character of the pub, the food, staff and comfy bed,"
