8.4/10 Very good! (3,992 reviews)
Our stay at Ocean Eden Bay was nice! The property was beautiful and the staff were very helpful and pleasant. The food was great and our room was spectacular. “Get the swim up room!” The only issue we ran into was upon check in. Unfortunately, we missed our flight the day before but when we arrived we still had to wait in the lobby for 2+hrs. Head of systems up keep was very apologetic and did her best to expedite the wait time. The wait was very off putting because if we had arrived the day before as expected our room should have been ready!! So I found it quite ridiculous that we had to wait for a room that should have been cleared for occupancy the day prior!

9/10 Wonderful! (1,918 reviews)
The property is beautiful, and the rooms were clean; however, there was an unpleasant odor. Unfortunately, the overall guest experience was disappointing due to the lack of friendly service and communication.
There was no water available in the building, and guests were not informed of this issue in advance. Additionally, my room keys did not work. When I reported the problem, I was simply told that someone would be sent to assist, without any further explanation or clear communication.
The pool hours were also limited, closing at 5:00 PM and reopening at 9:00 AM. Guests were advised to swim at their own risk. Furthermore, beach towels were not available until 9:00 AM, which was inconvenient.
Although the property itself is beautiful and the rooms were clean, the lack of communication, customer service, and basic amenities negatively impacted my overall experience.

8.4/10 Very good! (2,162 reviews)
The property is the process of being closed due to a new location being built to be opened in 2027. The room, although it appeared clean, are not very clean the floor in the rooms needed to be swept and mopped. Lots of scaffolding around the building for on going renovations. The rooms given out by Expedia are of the lowest quality. Staff at the hotel are accommodating and helpful , I probably won’t go back there because I couldn’t eat the buffet food. Everything had pepper in it .
Planning for an all inclusive trip? examine the food choices and need for restaurant reservations especially if you or your family have any dietary restrictions. I paid for an all inclusive hotel but had to pay money for food off site. I probably will not go back to this MoonPalace Ocho Rios again.
