"Great place to stay with friendly staff. Convenient location 15 minutes walk along sea front from ferry port. Very clean room with lovely bathroom with electric shower. Pristine towels, extra blankets. Free tea & coffee making facilities and top-up supplies freely available. TV. Fantastic breakfast basket with freshly baked croissants, jam, butter, cereal, milk, yogurt and fresh fruit delivered to room each morning at 8am. Local shops, bars and restaurants. Very helpful guesthouse guide, area maps and sightseeing information. Well appointed guest areas and outside terrace. Really enjoyable pace to stay!"

"Fabulous food & service in a great location. The breakfast options are excellent and the meal we had in the Leopard Bar was wonderful. Although it's situated at the top of a hill, it's within a 15 minute walk from the centre of St Peter Port or 5 minutes from the bus stop nearest Candie Gardens"

"This hotel has a very interesting historical background with all the comforts one expects at a nice hotel. The staff is friendly and receptive to any requests. The room we stayed in was clean, well taken care of by housekeeping and had updated and modern bathroom and lighting/appliances. very nice and comfortable common areas, clean looking pool. excellent included breakfast, continental breakfast as well as hot breakfast made to order. Friendly kitchen staff as well. Also the food at the bar attached to hotel is excellent as well. Convenient location near bus stops, but you will need to take a bus or other transportation back from town unless you want to walk up hill! But the bus stops. Ear the hotel are near several bus lines so you won’t have a problem finding a ride back. The hotel could use some ramps as there are some steps and long corridors, even on the ground floor areas. Overall wonderful stay. Will stay here again and recommend to others. "
