"We loved this hotel. It was easy to access, cheap parking across the street and a short walk to the main areas of town. We had a private porch with a view up the mountain. We slept well and enjoyed our time there. Notes for other travelers: the parking machine is $4 per day but only takes coins; most places in town only take cash; breakfast is only offered on weekends; coffee is for sale by machine but it only takes coins. "The hotel was very nice--my room was spacious, comfortable, and nicely appointed. The view over fields and open spaces was especially nice. The restaurant was exceptional--I am so happy I chose half board--the evening dinner was very good! I will come back!"

"Excellent hotel, with a beautiful Spa/Welness facility. We had a room on the south side of the building, apparently without airco. That was not that convenient, however both windows could be opened full! We had 2 nights with dinner in buffet style, that is certainly not something we will take again, the first evening the service was ok, but the second evening, the plates of the first dish where still on the table and it was difficult to order a drink. The food was ok, but certainly not value for...

Am Markt Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Sits on such a beautiful littel square. Want to send a special thank you to the young gentlemen on the reception. Since there is no elevator at this facility, he lugged up most of our heavy luggage to our room for us. On the morning we left it was before the breakfast at 8AM but he kindly prepared a couple of take away coffees for us."

"We had a lovely 2 night stay at this property in the Standard Room, Bathtub (this little cottage-like room was beautiful and quaint and the bathtub was very, very nice). We had breakfast both days in the hotel and it was lovely with great options for food, great service, and beautiful scenery. On arrival, we were checked into our room quickly and they offered to bring our bags in. There were delicious snacks and drinks in the room for us to enjoy and great dining and drink options offered through the day (for purchase). We spent hours in the guest-only garden exploring and hiking, spent hours sitting out overlooking the picturesque Rhine River that runs through Oberwesel. On our second day, we had arranged for a wine tour through the hotel with a local vintner and would rate it 5 stars! We did not get dinner at the hotel but the views from the dining area are unmatched. Overall this was a fun and very unique lodging experience that I’d recommend for anyone to stay in! It did help that we had a car and drove ourselves from the Frankfurt Airport - very convenient to so so! We made a day of our travel out and stopped by Burg Eltz too to fit more in!"
